Paeonia ‘Buckeye Belle’

Paeonia ‘Buckeye Belle’ bloom is like a pompom or a ruffled underskirt, an almost complete ball of tiny rolled petals resting on the larger base petals in such a way that the light and shadow play around their edges. Changing the light breaks down the rich red, almost chocolate colour, of the bloom into different shades!

Peony ‘Buckeye Belle’ has won an APS Award of Landscape Merit in 2009 for its superior ornamental value and overall appearance!
