While most of us are inclined to think of tulips as big-bloomed beauties that must be replanted every year, the wild tulips, or botanical tulips, are true perennials. What their blooms lack in size, they make up for in their prolific flowering, and next year, they’ll pop up for a repeat performance. Tulip humilis ‘Norah’ falls into this group, and though this low-growing plant variety isn’t among the tulip aristocracy, it certainly deserves to be!
Tulip humilis ‘Norah’s pink blooms with their darker centers are sure to attract admiration, and you get the added benefit of several flowering seasons as long as the bulbs have been planted in well-drained soil. It’s definitely not a variety you’ll find just anywhere.
